Anchoring in bays in Turkey by making fast ashore at trees with “landlines” is now forbidden.
In some bays of the
Balearic Islands anchoring is now forbidden between June and October in order to protect the ecologically important sea-grass meadows (Posidonia meadows). Sailors and motorboat drivers can moore at cost free buoys. Attention – reservation of the buoy in advance is a must.
