Now another new yacht harbour has opened at the Atlantic coast of Morocco after the Marina Agadir started operation in summer 2008. The new Marina Bouregreg is situated in the capital Rabat at the river of the same name.
The new yacht marina offers 250 berths at with connections for electricity and water.The gas station is already in operation, as well a little shop. The yachting infrastructure in Morocco is being continuously improved. Until now the Marina Smir in the north of the country on the Med coast is a favourite destination for yachts.The Marina of Agadir on the south coast offers more than 300 berths, electricity and fresh water. Shopping for supplies in the marina’s surroundings is no problem. Port Authorities are based in the marina as well.
