Turkey: Breast-ropes around trees not allowed

Anchoring in bays in Turkey by making fast ashore at trees with “landlines” is now forbidden.
 
Turkey has enacted the new law to protect nature - many plants have apparently suffered from the ropes. Yachtsmen must look for other mooring opportunities ashore such as rocks now.
