Yacht Charter Piraeus

Piraeus, the historic port of Athens, known worldwide for the song by Melina Mercouri, has become one of the largest ports in the entire Mediterranean area – base port for commercial container ships and tankers, cruise giants, for the ferries which connect the Greek islands to the mainland, and of course for private and charter yachts, the Yacht Charter bases to be found mainly in the Zea Marina. The port is divided into the main harbor, Zea and Mikrolimanos. The center of Athens is rather nearby, connected to Piraeus by metro or electric buses. Those who have some time left could explore Greek shipping history visiting the nautical museum in Piraeus.

The old city of Piraeus offers a lot of shopping opportunities. Best spot for an evening stroll: the promenade of Mikrolimanos with numerous seafood restaurants and exclusive bars.
